Welcome to the home of Chicago's newest and most unique musical act, the Brill Babies. With a now sound that is part lounge, part rockabilly, part swing, part mood, and several parts pop, it's stating the obvious to say these three entertainers put on a show like nothing else you've seen, heard, or felt before. It would be less obvious to say that the preceding sentence is a long one.
Presently, the Brill Babies are on an unstoppable quest to preserve the most remarkable popular music made during the past fifty-some years. Much of which is, sadly, ignored in favor of current flavors and less everlasting fare. And though they may seem adamant in their pursuits, the young men who comprise this outfit are also stubbornly sincere. In fact, little would please them more than to be joined on this journey of sorts by the likes of you (and yours). And, perhaps, them too.
Dare we say that if you've ever dug music and all of the fabulous emotions it can induce, you will surely dig the Brill Babies? Oops...we just did. |
